The Brief

I have been given the taskof producing a promotional package for the release of an album. This includes a music video promo for an album track along with two of these three options:

• A website homepage for the band;
• A cover for its release as part of a digipack (CD/DVD package);
• A magazine advertisement for the digpack (CD/DVD package);

For the music video i will be in a group no larger than four, and we should all explore all of the different roles and responsibilities involved in the production, but at the same time will be given the responsibility of one of the main roles. The music video will need to promote the bands image, reflect the genre , pace and mood of the song.

I should mention what sort of institution it would sit in and the tv channels or websites that it could be distributed on. Also i need to consider the look and feel of the entire package to make sure it is all relevant and matches and promotes the artist properly.
